Position Overview

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to local tax regulations, statutory reporting, payment processes, and payroll management.
  • Provide insights to regional stakeholders regarding financial performance and budget discrepancies to enhance understanding and facilitate accurate reporting.
  • Develop and produce financial reports for regional stakeholders to ensure timely and precise financial data, enabling effective monitoring of financial health and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Act as a control advocate for the organization’s interests within the global framework.
  • Serve as the primary contact for regional financial inquiries, liaising with the global finance team to resolve issues and provide training and guidance on financial matters.
  • Collaborate with global centers of expertise to identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement financial best practices, mitigating risks and ensuring robust compliance and controls.

Candidate Profile

  • Must be eligible to work in the specified location.
  • Possess a degree or professional qualification in finance and accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience in business collaboration and engagement with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Exhibit strong analytical capabilities, with a focus on problem-solving and solution-oriented approaches.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a solid understanding of budget creation and financial reporting.
  • Experience in designing financial reports and interpreting data effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel, including financial modeling skills.
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities.
