Job Summary:
Randstad Construction & Property is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Site Agent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and leadership of a number of sub-contractors employed on a major tier 1 project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Package Management: Oversee and check the quality of borehole installations, coring, and sampling.
- Site Supervision: Supervise on-site works to ensure they are being carried out safely in accordance with the method statement.
- Programme Management: Manage the programme and turnaround times on GI reports.
- Quality Control: Review the quality and content of GI reports.
- Communication: Liaise with the designer where the specification needs to be changed or problems arise.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Manage GI sub-contractor ensuring that they are fulfilling their sub-contract duties and manage their performance.
- Financial Management: Verify timesheets and payments to sub-contractor and control the budget with the package QS.
- Investigation and Reporting: Investigate boreholes/site where the trigger levels in the Designer's Monitoring Plan have been breached and/or there are inconsistencies in the data.
- Meetings and Communication: Chair the Ground Water Area East Monitoring weekly meeting.
- Project Delivery: Be the point of contact for the delivery and design team for all GI works.
- Ground Investigations: Programme and complete Ground Investigations and approve reports.
- Environmental Monitoring: Carry out ongoing checks on water level readings and environmental sampling.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree qualified
- Experience in station fit-out
- Ability to critically review and understand Ground Investigation reports
- Experience and ability to manage a sub-contractor/package of works
- Ability to be at the site office/on-site daily
