Mental Health Specialist

The Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our Salford Dual Diagnosis Team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals experiencing mental health problems, providing community-based engagement and assessment to address complex needs.
Main Responsibilities- Provide community-based engagement and assessment to clients with complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
- Work in partnership with mental health and addiction services to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with council staff, drug and alcohol workers, police, and homeless outreach workers to provide mental health support to rough sleepers.
- Assess mental health needs for homeless individuals not engaged with mainstream mental health services.
- Participate in service planning and future development of mental health support for homeless individuals in the Salford district.

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Practitioner with experience in working with complex mental health needs, preferably in a community setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health and dual diagnosis, as well as experience of working with homeless individuals.
