Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser. As a key member of our dispensary team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough checks on patient prescriptions to ensure accuracy and authenticity
- Dispense and label medications correctly, adhering to strict quality control standards
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed, including patient information and medication details
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications, adhering to established protocols
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve seamless dispensary operations
Requirements:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred
- Previous experience in a dispensary or pharmacy setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
- Proficiency in MS Office is a plus
