Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our team in Basildon, Essex. The successful candidate will oversee the safe and effective running of the dispensary, ensuring timely medication dispatch and managing queries and complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and ensuring the safe and effective running of the dispensary
- Recruiting, hiring, and training staff, and conducting performance reviews
- Complying with WDA responsibilities and ensuring adherence to SOPs for medication handling, storage, dispensing, and documentation
- Solving pharmacy service-related patient queries and complaints
Requirements:
- Master's degree in pharmacy or equivalent
- Valid GPhC registration
- Extensive experience within a relevant Pharmacy setting, ideally within a UK hospital
- Experience within a Pharmacy Dispensing environment is highly desirable
- Experience and knowledge with regards to WDA responsibilities and SOPs

Our client is a private clinic with a linked pharmacy, specializing in assisting patients who may not have found satisfactory results for their conditions via their existing medications. We work with consultants specializing in pain, psychiatry, neurology, palliative care, and cancer, ensuring our patients receive their prescribed medication directly to their door via a next-day delivery service.
