**Job Summary**

At Manor Royal Business District, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerospace Inspector to join our team. As an Aerospace Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our defence electronics and avionics systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct thorough inspections of production and repair items to ensure compliance with product defining data and company workmanship standards.
  • Verify the assembly, wiring, modifications, and repairs of simple to complex units and systems.
  • Perform First Article Inspection and inspection of units and systems to documentation pack and company workmanship standards.
  • Raise Inspection Reports and support Workplace Management requirements with regard to Monthly Inspections, ESD, COSHH, and Temperature & Humidity records.
  • Develop and implement effective inspection procedures to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality and safety issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to other employees on IPC standards and quality control procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

**Requirements**

  • Apprenticeship/ONC or practical experience in the inspection of the wiring & assembly of military and civil products.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Good problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Aptitude for facilitating and coaching process and behavioural change.
  • Basic PC skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
