The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes and our Quality Management System (QMS), collaborating with sourcing, engineering, and production teams as well as our supply chain, to maintain and improve product quality.

The role involves ensuring that the business adheres to the defined Quality Management System processes, work instructions, standards, and policies through internal auditing. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of the delivered products through safety audits and inspections, and ensuring that any product hazards are promptly addressed.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including ISO 9001.
  • Updating and managing the QMS, improving the processes and work instructions through continual improvement and lessons learned.
  • Capture, investigate, and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Supporting the evaluation and onboarding of new suppliers, and monitoring their performance.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Qualifications and experience in manufacturing, production, quality, or an engineering discipline to at least HND qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standard.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
