Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Manchester team. As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery. You'll work on a range of projects, from £10m to £25m, and collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise at a strategic level on project inception, including providing guidance on approaches to achieve client objectives.
- Prepare and maintain project requirements definitions.
- Establish project governance, processes, and systems.
- Develop and implement resource plans and procurement strategies.
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
- Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including KPIs.
- Manage change control processes and budgets.
- Communicate project information to clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Prepare project progress reports and advise clients on Health & Safety and Environmental issues.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience on large scheme projects (£100m+).
- NEC: ECC Project Manager accreditation.
- Chartered or qualified with ICE, APM, RICS, or other relevant professional bodies.
