Electronics Quality Assurance Engineer

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a skilled and experienced Electronics Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Weymouth. As a key member of our electronic manufacturing team, you will be responsible for conducting various testing procedures to determine the performance of electronic products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct automated and manual testing on electronic products to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Perform fault finding to identify potential issues and ensure products meet regulatory requirements.
  • Handle and analyze customer returns to determine the root cause of any faults and implement corrective actions.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time, including test reports and quality control records.
  • Conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and vibration testing as required to ensure product reliability.
  • Prepare and present investigation reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement and recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the electronic manufacturing team to ensure products are built to the highest quality standards, meeting customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the electronic industry, with a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings and circuit diagrams, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with electronic manufacturing is a plus, with knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
  • A technical degree or certification in a relevant field, such as electronics engineering or quality assurance, is preferred.
