Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance professional to join our team as an Apprentice Quality Assurance Specialist. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Focus: Address customer requirements and ensure that our products meet their expectations.
  2. Quality Initiatives: Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and business development initiatives to drive quality improvements.
  3. Quality Assurance: Serve as the point of contact for all quality matters, both internally and with suppliers, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  4. Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits to maintain accreditations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  5. Red Table/RCCA Activities: Support the company's Red Table/RCCA activities to identify and address quality issues.
  6. FAIR Review: Review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to ensure that our products meet quality standards.
  7. Lean and Six Sigma: Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
  8. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager to ensure the success of our Quality Assurance department.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Certification: Relevant degree or certification in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or time-served experience in a related field.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Six Sigma tools and methodologies, as well as auditing experience, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  3. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and experience with relevant techniques to drive quality improvements.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with AS, ISO, and NADCAP standards is advantageous, as well as the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
