Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Ultra is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Management function, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our Quality Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify compliance to company processes and documented procedures to ensure a robust Quality Management System is in place throughout the business.
  • Identify, maintain, and recommend quality business improvement processes required to maintain company quality approvals.
  • Work closely with all levels of internal and external customers, including approval authorities, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement and defect-free products.
  • Develop and implement quality plans, control plans, and process improvements to meet customer requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to recommend processes and process changes to ensure delivery of defect-free products to customers.
  • Manage and conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and monitor repairs and warranty returns to confirm liability and identify trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within a Quality Management system, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
  • Experience in conducting root cause analysis using tools like 8D and auditing to ensure compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages and relevant software for the role.
