Schedule: 5 Days a Week, Early Finish on Fridays

A Quality Assurance Technician with expertise in CMM and experience in aerospace components is sought by a precision engineering firm experiencing significant growth. This role offers ongoing training and opportunities for career advancement for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct First Off, In-Process, Goods Inwards, and Final Inspections according to customer specifications and technical drawings.
  • Prepare and execute First Article Inspections (FAIR) in compliance with AS9102 standards.
  • Support Quality Assurance systems to ensure adherence to AS9100 and all relevant company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through participation in the company's Kaizen process.
  • Ensure that all necessary training and qualifications are maintained to perform the role in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS).

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in creating and completing FAIRs to AS9102 standards.
  • Familiarity with the operation and programming of relevant measurement equipment, including CMMs and Faro Arms.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, with a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Capacity to excel in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary.
