The Role

As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will be at the heart of our finance operations, responsible for preparing and submitting quarterly financial reports to 10-12 lenders, as well as monitoring and ensuring compliance with financial covenants. You will work closely with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure our financial obligations are met with precision and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quarterly Lender Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to lenders, ensuring all requirements are met in accordance with loan agreements.
  • Covenant Compliance: Monitor financial covenants, perform detailed analysis, and prepare compliance certificates, proactively addressing any potential issues.
  • Ad-hoc Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyse financial statements, provide insights on performance and compliance, and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for lenders on financial reporting and compliance matters, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to our reporting and compliance processes, ensuring they are efficient and effective.

Requirements

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within financial reporting or audit, preferably in the property sector
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and related financial reporting requirements.
  • Previous experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, consolidations, cash flows and financial covenants

Desirable Skills

  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Yardi preferred but not essential
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
