Job Title: Senior Children and Young People Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Children and Young People Mental Health Practitioner to join our award-winning team in North Devon. As a key member of our crisis services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, comprehensive mental health services to children and young people with complex mental health difficulties.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a professional mental health qualification and substantial experience of managing a complex caseload. You will be responsible for providing expert assessment and evidence-based treatment for children and young people, as well as contributing to the multi-disciplinary approach of the team. Your excellent communication skills and ability to engage with children and young people of all ages will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a defined caseload of children and young people with complex mental health difficulties
  • Provide expert assessment and evidence-based treatment

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a professional mental health qualification and substantial experience of managing a complex caseload. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with children and young people of all ages.
