Role Overview:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and ensuring the effective delivery of insurance solutions. This position offers a competitive earning potential with a bonus structure based on commission income, allowing for earnings up to £56,000 including fees.

Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a variety of client service and sales activities, including but not limited to:
  • Conducting comprehensive telephone assessments to gather necessary information and create insurance market submissions.
  • Identifying potential insurable risks within clients' operations.

Additionally, the Account Manager will be responsible for:
  • Producing and delivering clear, compliant sales documentation to clients.
  • Addressing client inquiries throughout the policy term in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of policy documents before distribution.
  • Assisting clients with any claims-related issues.
  • Managing the renewal process for client accounts.
  • Engaging in up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective clients to meet established sales targets.
  • Participating in networking events and trade shows as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of various insurance contract classes, including:
  • Package policies (e.g., Retail, Offices, Restaurants, Pubs)
  • Commercial Combined Insurance
  • Commercial Motor Insurance, including Fleet Motor

Additionally, candidates should have:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial insurance role.
  • Membership in the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and be actively pursuing the Diploma in Insurance (Dip CII) qualification, with opportunities available for further study towards the Advanced Diploma (ACII) if desired.
