About the Role
We are seeking a driven and passionate Business Development Sales Executive to join our team at Barrett Steel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing customer expectations, increasing sales, and building long-term mutually beneficial relationships with our current and new customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Strive to increase sales and secure profitable new market share and gross margin growth.
- Lead negotiations with potential customers and build relationships to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Process sales enquiries/orders and see all administration through to completion.
- Manage colleagues' sales ledgers during holidays and provide sales ledger cover where needed.
- Be an ambassador for high customer service standards that seek to build customer retention levels.
About You
You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative and creative way. Previous business development/sales experience within a demanding sales environment is essential, ideally in a steel-related or construction background.
