We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents within our Learning Disability (LD) pathway.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical assessment and management of mental health disorders in children and adolescents.
- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team to develop shared decision-making and formulate diagnoses and ongoing care.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in teaching and research opportunities to enhance professional development and contribute to the advancement of child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of gaining CCT.
- Approved Clinician Status.
- Up-to-date knowledge in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Awareness of current issues in mental health service provision, policy, and legislation.
