Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and adolescents with mental health disorders
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and develop clinical skills
Requirements
  • Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of gaining CCT
  • Approved Clinician Status
  • Up-to-date knowledge in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Awareness of current issues in mental health service provision, policy, and legislation
  • Regularly participate in activities that maintain and develop competence in LD CYPS client group
