Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Specialist to join the Ruby Group team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients via ticketing system and internal communication channels.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues reported by customers.
  • Assist customers with basic network and connectivity problems.
  • Evaluate and escalate complicated technical issues to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of customer interactions and issue resolutions in our ticketing system.
  • Install and configure networking and desktop equipment at client sites.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar technical support role.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
  • Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server.
  • Knowledge of managing Microsoft 365 environment and MDM solutions.
  • Familiarity with network concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
