Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director for Occupational Health and Safety to join our team at NHS Ayrshire & Arran.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our occupational health and safety strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing risk across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies and procedures
  • Provide specialist advice to governance forums and committees
  • Lead on the development and implementation of health and safety strategy
  • Engage with external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and best practice
  • Provide senior leadership and strategic resource management

Requirements:
