Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and acquire new retail partners in the outdoor and lifestyle sectors, expanding our client's footprint in key markets.

  • Market Penetration: Develop and execute strategies to enter new markets, with a focus on growing our client's presence in Europe and beyond.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with our sales director to devise and implement sales strategies that align with our client's goals, driving revenue growth through effective planning and execution.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closing: Lead negotiations with senior buying teams and execute contracts that ensure profitable growth and strong brand representation.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, set targets, and analyze data to identify opportunities for growth, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve sales objectives.
  • Retail Partnership Management: Work closely with retail partners to optimize product assortment, stock levels, and in-store promotions to drive sell-through.
  • Brand Representation: Ensure brand image and product positioning are consistent across all retail channels, aligning with our client's vision and values.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record as an International Sales Manager, Sales Account Manager, or similar role in the outdoor, lifestyle, or sports retail sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Must have experience winning, growing, and expanding European retailers/distribution partners, particularly in sports, outdoor, and lifestyle categories.
  • New Business Focus: Demonstrated success in acquiring new retail partners and driving business growth.
  • Sales Leadership: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex sales processes with senior stakeholders.
  • Market Understanding: Deep understanding of European and global retail markets, particularly in sports and outdoor sectors.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
