Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at Edwards & Pearce Limited. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to our operational site leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Site HR Team: Engage, motivate, and support the site HR team to deliver a high-quality HR service.
  2. Support and Coach Managers: Provide guidance and coaching to managers on HR best practices, leadership development, and self-awareness.
  3. Employee Performance Management: Manage and develop employee performance to ensure high standards are maintained.
  4. Legal Compliance: Ensure legal compliance is achieved across the site.
  5. Recruitment and Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the right skills and experience are acquired through effective resourcing, talent management, and induction programs.
  6. Employee Engagement: Look for ways to continually improve employee engagement, including employee wellbeing.
  7. Record Keeping: Ensure all records are up-to-date and accurate.
  8. HR Policy Implementation: Take ownership for the fair and consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
  9. Training and Development: Act as budget holder for Training and Development.

Requirements:

  1. CIPD Level 5: Hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
  2. HR Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a leading HR position managing an HR team with site responsibility.
  3. Leadership and Coaching Skills: Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident in working as part of an operational site leadership team.
  5. Business Acumen: Good business acumen and a real interest in site business and processes.
  6. Manufacturing Experience: Ideally experienced in a manufacturing environment (blue/white collar).
  7. HR Generalist: Exposure to a broader HR role, getting involved in many key areas of HR.
  8. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills at all levels and good emotional awareness.
  9. Problem-Solving Skills: Good problem-solving skills, solution finder, and innovative thinker.
  10. KPI Experience: Experience in a KPI process-driven organisation, with experience of analysing data and uncovering trends.
  11. Team Player: A 'can do' attitude, ideas person, and problem solver - someone who brings energy to the team and is prepared to 'muck in'.
  12. Confidence and Articulation: Confident, engaging, articulate, excellent listener, and inspiring HR Manager.
