Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Department Practitioner to join our Anaesthetic team in Main Theatres. As a key member of our team, you will provide skilled assistance in Anaesthetics, supporting the perioperative team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Duties

Registered Practitioners will be responsible for providing skilled assistance in Anaesthetics, including:

  • Supporting the perioperative team in the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Providing skilled assistance in Anaesthetics, including preparation and maintenance of equipment and supplies
  • Participating in a rota system that provides 24-hour care, including weekends and public holidays
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as an Operating Department Practitioner or nurse with a UK-approved anaesthetic qualification
  • Membership of a professional body
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Flexibility and a commitment to developing skills and knowledge
