We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Department Practitioner to join our Anaesthetic team in Main Theatres. As a key member of our team, you will provide skilled assistance in Anaesthetics, supporting the perioperative team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Main DutiesRegistered Practitioners will be responsible for providing skilled assistance in Anaesthetics, including:
- Supporting the perioperative team in the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Providing skilled assistance in Anaesthetics, including preparation and maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Participating in a rota system that provides 24-hour care, including weekends and public holidays
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration as an Operating Department Practitioner or nurse with a UK-approved anaesthetic qualification
- Membership of a professional body
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Flexibility and a commitment to developing skills and knowledge
