Nurse - Residential and School Setting

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Sight Scotland & Sight Scotland Veterans. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people with visual impairments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to children and young people in our residential and school settings.
- Work in partnership with colleagues across care, education, and therapies to support children and young people.
- Adhere to the policies, procedures, and values of the organisation and promote best practice in nursing care.
- Take responsibility for ensuring current good practice in relation to Child and Adult Protection is followed.
- Support junior members of staff, learners, and children and young people.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of child and adult protection policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in partnership with colleagues across care, education, and therapies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
