**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Professional to join our team at Wakefield Council. As a key member of our Adult Social Care department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective learning and development strategies to enhance the skills and confidence of our workforce.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Commission, implement, deliver, evaluate, and quality assure all learning and development activities to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and motivate staff in a supervisory role, utilizing your expertise to drive performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and maximizing value for the organization.
  • Analyze and retrieve data, utilizing your analytical skills to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in leading and motivating staff, with a strong track record of driving performance and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and inform business decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
