Job Description

About the Role

Clinisupplies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of projects that drive the sale of our products, specifically Aquaflush, into the competitive primary and secondary care market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Sales Results
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to deliver and exceed agreed sales targets for Aquaflush.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Regional Business Managers, Commercial Managers, and the Neuro Business Development Manager.
  • Market Development
    • Represent Clinisupplies at regional consumer events to develop relationships with key healthcare professionals in the areas of Bowel and Continence care.
    • Support partnering Trusts with the provision, promotion, and implementation of pathways for patients to access our services through our Care+/Nightingale+ programs within Nightingale Delivery service.
  • Business Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of both secondary and primary care within the NHS, and the changing face of the NHS.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the formulary process and ability to influence for positive positioning of Clinisupplies products.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with regional colleagues to support the delivery of key projects both nationally and regionally.
    • Provide effective weekly updates of company IT requirements, CRM, Calendar, and Monthly reports to the National Sales Manager.

  • Experience and Skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Dynamic and driven, with a desire to work in a target-driven environment.
    • Confident, articulate, and a strong relationship builder.
    • Highly self-motivated and tenacious, with the ability to deliver sales results in a competitive environment.
    • Well-organized and able to plan weekly and monthly diary.
  • Desirable Qualifications
    • Clinical background.
    • Experience in customer relations or front-of-house sales.
    • Anal Irrigation/Continence market and competition knowledge.
    • Experience in a medical device sales role with a successful track record.
    • Commercial/business acumen.
