Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and efficient Transport Administrator to join our team at Adecco. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the transport window, ensuring the smooth operation of our client's warehouse and logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the transport window, coordinating with inbound drivers and warehouse supervisors to optimize efficiency and ensure timely despatch of goods.
- Provide vital administrative support to our client's transport team, assisting with data entry, documentation, and general clerical tasks.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the transport function by maintaining accurate records and producing reports as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience as a transport window operative or in a similar role within a transport or warehouse environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with inbound drivers, warehouse supervisors, and other team members.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks.
- Proficient computer skills, with experience in data entry and general admin work.
- A positive and enthusiastic approach, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
