Job Title: Transport Support Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transport Support Operator to join our team at Fowler Welch. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the dispatch of outbound drivers, ensuring accurate paperwork and clear instructions for collections and deliveries.
  • Monitor vehicle progress and utilize communication systems to address any delays or issues.
  • Escalate potential performance issues to relevant stakeholders and collaborate with internal departments to optimize performance.
  • Utilize customer and retailer systems to manage bookings, updates, and progress.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues, liaising with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Present KPIs and operational information to demonstrate performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure compliance and optimize performance.
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Positive and adaptable attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Effective prioritization and time management.
