We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Community Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities in the Windsor and Maidenhead area.
Key Responsibilities- Work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and review Occupational Therapy treatment plans for individuals with learning disabilities.
- Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, using evidence-based and person-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Collaborate with clients, families, paid carers, and professionals to create bespoke care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Provide specialist clinical advice, training, and information to colleagues, carers, and other professionals, including students.
- Maintain accurate client records and up-to-date Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
