Job Overview:
The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing and reviewing patient medical histories and treatment protocols
- Monitoring vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
- Interpreting and analyzing data from various medical devices
- Administering prescribed medications and therapeutic interventions
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff
Qualifications:
- Valid RN License and BLS Certification are mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Familiarity with health information management systems
- Proficient in multitasking in a fast-paced environment
