Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist/Research Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist/Research Nurse to join our team at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology and a keen interest in improving patient care. As a senior member of the nursing team, you will be responsible for coordinating the assessment of care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating appropriate programs of care for patients requiring ophthalmic care.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a high standard of holistic care is maintained for all patients and families. The ideal candidate will have a teaching and assessing qualification, post-registration qualification, and relevant post-registration clinical experience.

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The Trust works collaboratively within the wider Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership.

  • Coordinating the assessment of care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating appropriate programs of care for patients requiring ophthalmic care.
