As a Senior Engineer in Waste Water Process Engineering, you will be instrumental in all facets of process engineering on transformative initiatives for essential infrastructure, with chances to engage in prestigious engineering projects both domestically and internationally.

Our expertise encompasses all areas of process engineering within the water sector, including waste-water and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and globally, with potential opportunities in other fields such as nuclear. Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage teams responsible for technical design work adhering to relevant design standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Define project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Effectively manage timelines and budgets to meet key project milestones and schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with teams in the UK and internationally to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Establish quality assurance standards in design processes.
  • Enhance and oversee process engineering capabilities within the organization.
What You Bring
  • Chartered status as a Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
  • Proven experience in managing design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
  • In-depth understanding of process engineering considerations and their implications on project and operational risks.
  • Experience in leading teams on significant projects and capital initiatives.
  • Familiarity with process safety methodologies (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational cost assessments, and whole life carbon evaluations, alongside knowledge of UK environmental regulations.
  • Hands-on design and/or operational experience with primary process unit operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary regularly benchmarked against industry standards, with a default of 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and options to buy or sell additional leave. Salary and benefits will be aligned with experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:

The vetting procedure is conducted by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK for five years or longer.
