About Oxendon House:
Located in a charming village, Oxendon House is designed to offer a homely atmosphere while providing modern accommodations. We deliver personal and dementia care for a community of 43 residents.

Daily Responsibilities:
- Encouraging residents' independence with a focus on choice, dignity, and respect, while promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
Leading the team to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents, supporting caregivers in providing personal care and assistance with daily activities.
Administering medications and maintaining accurate care plans and daily records.
Upholding residents' choice, dignity, and independence at all times.
Essential Qualifications:
Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
A minimum of one year’s experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning principles.
Full driving license.
Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and procedures for reporting abuse.
Satisfactory Care Character Assessment.
Proximity to the home within a reasonable commuting distance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of experience in a similar role within a nursing home.
Experience in caring for residents with dementia.
NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or higher.
Experience in team management.
