About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Risk Assurance Manager to join our team at BDO. As a key member of our Tax Assurance & Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of tax risk and governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assurance to stakeholders on the tax operations of our clients, including Boards of Directors, Governments, Regulators, and wider society.
  • Assist clients in optimising their tax performance and meeting relevant compliance obligations, such as Senior Accounting Officer and Corporate Criminal Offences.
  • Develop and implement best-in-class tax control frameworks and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients and BDO partners to identify opportunities for enhancing delivery and providing additional services.
  • Lead on projects and produce high-quality reports, including presentations and workshops.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level, and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience of Tax Risk work, including tax process, strategy, SAO, and CCO, with a keen interest in governance and risk management.
  • Strong presentation style and confidence in hosting workshops, training sessions, and webinars.
  • Excellent communication skills to participate in the management of the group, contact with clients, and recognise business development opportunities.
