Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Radiographer to join our CT team at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is a rotational role that will provide a unique opportunity to work in various areas of the radiology department, including CT, Interventional, and General X-Ray.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality CT scanning services to patients, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the radiology team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Clinical Governance initiatives to maintain and improve department standards.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in CT scanning techniques and equipment, staying up-to-date with new developments and advancements.
  • Provide teaching and training to junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.

Person Specification
  • Essential criteria:
    • BSc Radiography or DCR
    • State Registration
    • Post-Graduate qualification in CT (or working towards this)
  • Desirable criteria:
    • Day-to-day operational management experience
    • CT Colon training (in-house or externally)
