We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our CT Rotational team at Nuffield Health Barts Hospital. Key Responsibilities- Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, ensuring excellent patient care and safety.
- Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice, including CT scanners and other diagnostic imaging modalities.
- Supervise and develop junior colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in the role.
- Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programs, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
- Provide input to the review, update, and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes, ensuring compliance with Nuffield Health policies and procedures.
- Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements, adhering to data protection and confidentiality standards.
- BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
- Post-registration experience in CT scanning, including cardiac CT, and other diagnostic imaging modalities.
- Excellent communication and team working skills, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach to work.
- Awareness of MRI safety and compliance with local rules, as well as IRMER and own scope of practice.
