Job Title: Infrastructure Security Manager

Function: CIO

Location: London or Edinburgh - Hybrid Working

How you'll make a difference

We're seeking someone passionate about securing our infrastructure and operations. You'll work with our cyber security team to lead vulnerability assessment, remediation, and secure build and configuration of our assets, including data centre, cloud, networks, and office/branch. You'll support the implementation of our Infrastructure & Cloud security strategy, policy, controls, services, metrics, and compliance.

What you'll bring

  • A strong background in offensive and defensive techniques, with knowledge of open-source frameworks like OWASP and CVSS.
  • Experience in delivering and maintaining networking and network security devices, both on-premise and in cloud service providers.
  • A good understanding of current DDoS and WAF protection measures.
  • A track record of delivery as a lead, with a comprehensive understanding of best practices in infrastructure vulnerability management, evaluation, and prioritisation.
  • Awareness of micro-segmentation concepts.
  • Full technical capability to lead the operation and optimisation of tooling for Vulnerability, Firewall, WAF, and DDoS solutions.
  • A proven track record of hands-on delivery experience at the lead level.
  • Experience in managing a team of Information Security resources, directing, and prioritising their workload to deliver against business objectives.
  • A degree in an Information Security related discipline, or certifications like CISM, CISSP, CSSLP, or equivalent.
  • Ability to track and report on non-compliance remediation and take accountability for driving remediation.
  • Ability to review vulnerabilities and assess prioritisation/impact based on common risk exception and mitigation concepts.
  • Experience in providing regular briefing and reporting to senior stakeholders on information security status and progress.
