Compensation: £40,000-65,000

Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site in Hertfordshire

As part of their expansion, they are seeking enthusiastic Junior Software Developers with a solid foundation in Java. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to take on new challenges and advance their careers in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a reputable university
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Java and web application development
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of build automation tools such as Maven and Gradle
  • Understanding of XML or JSON formats
  • Experience with at least one J2EE container, such as Tomcat
  • Preferred: Frontend development skills in React, Angular, or Vue

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining REST and SOAP web services
  • Collaborating with technical architects and project managers
  • Assisting in testing, configuration, and deployment processes
  • Participating in design discussions and implementation strategies
  • Continuously learning and adapting to new technologies
