Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Software Developer with experience in Java to join our client's team. As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software applications using Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot
  • Work closely with technical architects and development managers to ensure project deliverables
  • Contribute to testing, configuration, and release processes
  • Participate in design and implementation decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in software development

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science from a Russell Group University
  • 1-3 years of commercial experience with Java and web application development
  • Experience with Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud hosting (e.g. AWS), Containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), Build tools (e.g. Maven, Gradle), XML, JSON, and J2EE containers (e.g. Tomcat)
  • Bonus: frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue
