Job Title: Junior Embedded Software Developer

We are seeking a talented Junior Embedded Software Developer to join our team at the Octagon Group. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software for embedded systems, including Linux device drivers, microcontroller development, and multi-threaded applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Linux device drivers and microcontroller firmware using C programming language
  • Assist with multi-threaded applications and server development using Rust and/or Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop embedded software solutions
  • Contribute to the development of kernel driver development and embedded system architecture
Requirements:
  • Experience in programming using Embedded C, ideally on a Linux platform
  • Exposure to microcontrollers and microprocessors
  • Experience with Rust and/or Python for multi-threaded server programming (beneficial)
  • Exposure to kernel driver development (highly beneficial)
