Job Opportunity: Junior Java Developer

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for software development?

Do you have 1-3 years of experience working with Java and web application development?

We are excited to partner with a leading retail software provider to find a talented Junior Java Developer to join their Hertfordshire-based team.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Java Developer to grow and develop both professionally and personally in a dynamic and innovative company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Java-based web applications using Spring Boot and Microservices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-hosted solutions using AWS
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development

Requirements:

  • BSc in Computer Science from a Russell Group University
  • 1-3 years of commercial experience with Java and web application development
  • Strong understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • Experience with cloud hosting using AWS
