Job Title: Depot Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Depot Manager to join our team at Consult2Recruit. As a Depot Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our depot, ensuring that it runs efficiently and meets all performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of service technicians, parts staff, and administrative personnel.
- Maintain and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate closely with sales and aftersales teams to provide seamless customer support.
- Manage inventory, parts, and equipment to ensure that stock levels meet customer demand.
- Regularly report on depot performance, including financials and operations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar management role, ideally within the construction or heavy machinery industry.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands efficiently.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a workshop environment.
- Financial acumen, particularly in managing budgets.
