To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate robust leadership skills, experience in agile delivery, and a proven track record of enhancing and rebuilding banking products hosted in cloud environments.

Our client is prepared to offer a competitive salary of approximately £90,000, complemented by a 25% bonus, 30 days of annual leave, and a comprehensive benefits package, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer and market demands and convert them into actionable product specifications.
  • Establish, prioritize, and communicate clear requirements to facilitate the delivery of product features through EPICS and user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with the organization and subject matter experts to achieve the desired technological outcomes.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including technology, design, customer service, and compliance, to ensure the successful launch of products and features.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential implications for the organization’s product offerings.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to supporting teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and market trends to inform the creation of new products and the enhancement of existing offerings.


Experience Requirements:
  • Recent experience in the financial services sector, particularly in banking, is essential.
  • In-depth product knowledge of financial services offerings (payments, accounts, financial crime prevention, and savings) is crucial.
  • Significant experience in leading a product function with cross-functional teams, including engineers, Scrum Masters, and Business Analysts, is required.
  • Recent exposure to digital product environments, preferably within Azure, is a must-have.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience managing third-party suppliers are essential.
  • A solid understanding of Agile and SAFe Agile methodologies is required.
  • Experience with lending or savings system procedures would be advantageous.
