About the Role:

Müller Milk & Ingredients is seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Manager to join our innovative Leadership Team at our Glasgow facility. This position is ideal for an experienced HR generalist with a background in manufacturing, FMCG, or logistics. We are looking for someone who is creative, adaptable, and resilient, with the capability to influence and support both colleagues and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive local People Plan to align with our organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for colleagues and line managers on essential HR policies and procedures, including performance management and employee relations.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that prioritizes employee wellbeing and leads initiatives through the local Wellbeing Forum.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the centralized shared service center to ensure seamless HR operations.
  • Design career development pathways and oversee the execution of relevant training and development programs.
  • Enhance our induction, recognition, and retention strategies while supporting related projects.
  • Drive improvements in diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee talent planning, succession management, and HR processes that contribute to a high-performing team.
  • Provide guidance and support on Employee Relations casework.
  • Maintain effective relationships with local Trade Union representatives.
  • Offer day-to-day HR support on operational matters.
  • Assist with Group HR projects and initiatives.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • CIPD qualification is essential.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Trade Union operations is beneficial.
  • Experience in a business partner or matrix structure is preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing complex Employee Relations issues.
  • Strong resilience and excellent influencing and communication skills.
  • Able to cultivate trust, respect, and transparency within the team.
