About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our progressive Leadership Team at our Glasgow dairy. As an HR Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a positive working relationship with local trade union representatives to achieve business goals.
  2. Effectively communicate people-related initiatives and strategy to the site workforce.
  3. Deliver training for all people managers.
  4. Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment.
  5. Drive compliance against people KPIs, such as absence and turnover, to track and determine progress in addressing gaps.
  6. Collate and analyse HR data to develop insights; generate reports for business use.
  7. Deliver an engagement and wellbeing agenda and track progress against engagement action plans.
  8. Drive improvement in diversity and inclusion.
  9. Deliver continuous improvement of candidate experience from recruitment through to onboarding.
Requirements
  • CIPD qualified
  • Experience in manufacturing environment would be beneficial
  • Experience working with Trade Unions would be beneficial
  • Experience working in business partner/matrix structure
  • Resilience, great influencing and communication skills
  • Able to build trust, respect and openness
