Main Purpose of the Job: The role of the versatile production operative involves executing responsibilities to ensure all processes, including frying, flavoring, packing, palletizing, and case packing, meet the specifications outlined in company standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborating with the team to maintain the relevant zone (process/flavor/packaging/palletizing) at optimal performance against all metrics (Safety, Quality, Costs, and Production Plan Delivery) Operating machinery to the required safety and efficiency standards Conducting necessary food safety and quality tests throughout the shift to ensure compliance with standards Taking ownership of the assigned area by ensuring it is clean, safe, and audit-ready at all times Addressing and resolving tests and checks that fall outside of established standards Reporting any safety, quality, cost, or production plan delivery issues to the team leader or shift engineer Completing relevant documentation accurately and on time Performing changeovers and clean downs to expected standards promptly Proactively addressing safety, quality, cost, and production plan delivery by escalating issues and suggesting improvements Qualifications

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred A sufficient level of English comprehension to understand all verbal and written communication Numerically literate, capable of using a calculator and understanding percentages Ability to identify non-conformances in the workplace Strong communication skills to articulate performance issues and opportunities Good understanding of KPIs and how a manufacturing facility operates
