Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of operating theatres, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
- Work closely with anaesthetists and surgeons to provide high-quality patient care, adhering to Trust policies and guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring individualized care and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with theatre teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.
- Participate in the monitoring and maintenance of equipment, reporting any faults or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with recognized anaesthetic qualification.
- Previous experience in anaesthetics, with a strong understanding of theatre protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and respond to urgent situations.
- Competent in the use of medical equipment and technology.
