About the Role

A well-established organisation based in the UK is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This newly created role would be an excellent opportunity for candidates who have previously worked in IT Support, Network Engineering, or Network Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimising network performance and delivering IT support services to users across the organisation.
  • Supporting the delivery of major upgrades to the core network infrastructure and cloud transformation.
  • Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to internal and external users and managing the helpdesk system.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment, including network devices and servers.
  • Managing user access, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Azure.
  • Firewall management and server configurations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and network management.
  • Knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, virtual environments (VMWare and Hyper-V), printer solutions, anti-virus solutions, VOIP telephone systems, and CCTV and access control systems.
