To ensure the effective implementation of quality standards and policies across all operational processes at Barclays. This involves collaborating with control owners to execute Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA) that measure the effectiveness of controls.
Key Accountabilities- Identify and analyze regulatory trends and industry developments that may impact the bank's operations.
- Support the development and implementation of quality standards and policies by working closely with operational teams and processes.
- Develop and present reports on control performance to internal senior stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Participate in projects aimed at enhancing control efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Control Owners to design and manage RCSA, ensuring controls are effective, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Support operational teams in managing incidents, departmental procedures, record management, and controls testing.
- Identify opportunities to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures to support the control and governance agenda.
- Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work performed.
- Conduct complex analysis of data from multiple sources, including internal and external information, to inform control decisions.
