About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Technician to join our team at Windsor Forest Colleges Careers. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshops and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assist with maintenance in the workshops, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly stored and maintained.
  • Report any problems or issues to the management team in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Assist with End Point Assessments for Work-Based Learning (WBL) and provide support to teachers as needed.
  • Estimate and carry out repairs to equipment and facilities when possible.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of construction and maintenance practices.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
